Electric Picnic is bringing an excitingly wide range of acts to Laois this August for the festival's 20th year.

Calvin Harris, Noah Kahan, Kylie Minogue and Gerry Cinnamon are among the headliners.

"Electric Picnic fans, This Is What You Came For! It might not be Stick Season but it is festival season so we are delighted to reveal over 50 acts that will perform for you this summer at Ireland’s largest music and arts festival. We have High Hopes you’ll be Spinning Around to embrace the Escapism on offer across what is sure to be a Belter of a weekend," say Electric Picnic.

"Now in its 20th year, Electric Picnic captured the imagination of the country in 2004 as a one-day event and grew into Ireland’s largest and most loved music and arts festival with 75,000 festival-goers expected for the weekend in Stradbally, Co. Laois from 16 –18th August 2024. This year, the main stage at Electric Picnic will be connected to the grid and powered by renewable energy. This marks the first time a festival of its kind in the UK and Ireland will install mains power to reduce its carbon footprint."

Melvin Benn Festival Director gave his reaction.

"Electric Picnic is the slightly earlier jewel in the crown of the festival calendar this year of course and what a crown it is. A crown that 75,000 people get to wear and be part of and what a lineup they have to be part of. The Wolfe Tones returning was a must. The Scratch and The Waterboys are unmissable for me. Noah taking the world by storm and Calvin blowing our minds and then…. Kylie! What more can I say. The Picnic really is my joyous weekend," he said.

The Croi stage offers a more chilled out zone with music by the likes of David Kitt, Wallis Byrd, Mary Couglan, meditation, hot tubs and much more.

Electric Picnic takes place earlier than usual this year, from August 16 to 18, at its permanent home in the Cosby estate in Stradbally, Laois. Tickets for the 75,000 capacity weekend are sold out.
